coleman weathermaster tent

My husband and I are looking to buy a good tent that can withstand heavy rains. Any suggestions?
We’ve looked at the Coleman Weathermaster 6 and the Swiss Montreaux Ten Person Family Dome Tent. We don’t want to spend more than $250. We also want it to sleep a MINIMUM of 6 people as we hope to have this tent for a while and are planning on having a few kids down the road (maybe 4?)….so we want plenty of room for us and all our stuff without feeling cramped! We have also had trouble with tents in the past leaking during rain/thunder storms, so we want a good tent that is going to protect us well from the elements. Any suggestions and input would be much appreciated! Thanks!
The Coleman is my top choice it comes with the stay dry guarantee that others don’t have. Also they have a better quality tent and more vendors carry the brand.

The new tents made from nylon will keep you dry for a few seasons. The sun breaks down nylon and after 4 to 5 years seams will start to give way, flooring will crack and zippers fail that’s the trade off to light weight good weather protection. They still make (not Coleman) the old style canvas tents that last decades but at a higher price and they still smell musty after their first use and still get wet here is a brand I still endorse

Camping Dune?! I need an idea or something recommended?
I went camping in the dunes about 4 times, but this time I do not want to sleep wet bags and a small tent that blows up. Im going to buy all new. Anyone have any experience or some things they had purchased or used that have been made the trip easier and less humid ER? Has anyone used the Coleman Powercat too? I also been interested in Coleman 17×9 3 Room Weathermaster Elite 2008 tent …. Any comments?
You can see the different stores, or www.backcountry.com www.backpacker.com. In backpacker.com also find advice on camping in various areas. I can buy all my equipment in one trip because they have no questions asked return policy is refund your money or replace it. As for the tent blowing over you can use a loaf pan (aluminum pans less expensive) and as a commercial center sturdy bag and buried in the sand (and snow) to give a great anchor. To remedy where wet sleeping bag to go to a hardware store and buy plastic canvas artists. They come in different lengths and thicknesses. Setting up your tent at home and place of canvas tents on open track with a marker, then cut around 2 or 3 inches into your marker. The reason for cutting short which will pass through the workshop, if so, will take any water from rain or moisture and act as a pool in your tent. Or, if you want to spend a little more (probably around $ 30) you can get the footprint of the store.

duck hunting license

a hunting we will go joke?
A guy was duck hunting in Alabama when the park ranger walks up,
“Afternoon sir”, the ranger says, “You got an Alabama duck hunting license”?
“Yes I do”, the redneck replies.
The ranger picks up one of the ducks and sticks a finger up it’s bum and takes a sniff of his finger then says, “Sorry but this ducks from Georgia, you got a Georgia license?”
“Yes I do sir” , the redneck says,
So the ranger picks up another duck with the same results says, “well this duck is from Mississippi, you got a license from Mississippi?”
“Yes I do sir” the good ole boys says.
“Well dang son where you from?” the ranger says.
The old boy stands up turns around, drops his drawers and says:
“Well you tell me buddy!”
