Help me find the best air force base!?
Im 22 years old and love the outdoors. I don’t think Id enjoy the whole beach thing. Id prefer a mountainous area. somewhere good for hiking, camping, fishing, mountain biking etc. not anywhere too cold though. im from chicago so i can put up with seasonal weather but not constant cold weather. a place to meet some women would be an added bonus as well as a nearby ocean, lol. thanks for the help!
Hmmmm. For outdoors life with mountains, i would think Colorado (Patterson/Schriever); the population is such there that is a good chance of attractive women.
Mountain Home AFB (Idaho) is supposedly full of outdoor activity; this may be advertising to make up for the boring base (from what i’ve heard).
I was stationed at Luke (Arizona) which has plenty of mountains for hiking (Flagstaff is a three hour drive for snowboarding during the winter time), but the heat is something you won’t be prepared for. The first summer is brutal for anyone not used to temps in the hundreds. Also, the women in AZ are gorgeous–i was pleasantly surprised.
Downside is none of these are near oceans, but hopefully this is a place to start. Good luck.
